Issues with Religious Ideals

 Issues with Religious Ideals

  • Child "intellectual" (not just justified self-control, but emotional goals of becoming more comfortable in public) development
    • why it's wrong to have grown men teaching teenager girl
    • clarifying emotional goals make way to develop leadership skills like public speaking skills, something conservatism does not fostor, conservatism only fostors worker-like mentality, not leadership mentality, for that, turn to liberalism.
  • Religious Feelings
    • Religions rarely talk about feelings and often like to avoid it, mainly because religion is mainly based on emotional unawareness, which is also based on emotion, which makes someone easily convincable when you become unaware of why.
  • Temptation
    • Controling of impluses
  • Emotional Maturity
    • Religion relies on child-like feelings of masculinity (see: fragile mascilinty, fragile ego)
  • If religion is solely what one relies on for guidance on how to live their life, that leaves much to interpretation as to how to raise your children.
    • Examples include:
      • Lack of privacy, lack of choices, lack of creativity, etc.
      • This also translates well into developing sexual desires as there is no mention on controlling sexual impluses, which is poresumably also why religion makes way for the development of ped0pheolile priests.
  • Religion is not for emotionally mature adults, only for those that didn't make it past the sexually awkward phase in their teenage years
  • Religion never offers an explanation (because that is not the purpose of religion) on how to do things in terms of motor skills both physically metnally and emotionally how one should feel, religion merely offers rules and boundaries, those of which, never address specific variables at fault in accordance with how we observe and measure human behavior.
    • the goal should always be to accurately describe the way you're feeling, if not, then you're litearlly pretendig that everything is OK, which NEVER permenantly works out for the better
    • Describing someone's behavior as "good" or "bad" is not what one actually thinks: Take this, you see someone shopping at a supermarket and they purchase their items as opposed to stealing it, this showcases that their physiological needs are met and go to the supermarket to meet their physiological needs and nothing else, this is what the body really thinks, its just up to you to become aware of that.
    • Why means to interpret experience which is why
  • Saying "i won't do it because it's immoral" does not accurately describe the impulses being controlled in the brain because it is clearly possible to think that something Is immoral and continue to do it, negating the theory of self control and pure willpower.
  • Lack of address the teaching of feelings and emotions and rather indirectly addressing them/causing them.
  • Religion employs common sense more than intellectualism
  • Inability to effectivity isolate and target issues rather mainly focuses on targeting symptoms of issues
  • Does not believe in notion of mental health as that would require recognition past childhood abuse and an objective way to live life
  • I read the bible with the intentions of studying it not taking it personal
    • To study the bible, analyze it's language using literary devices:
      • Figurative Speech
      • Symbolism
  • The nature of religion is abusive, see: mental implications of religion - this is why I have no respect for religious people and want nothing to do with them and would avoid them at all practical costs.
    • To prove this go back to the basics, think in terms of scientific thoughts: morality as a failed theory, free will as a failed theory, the goal to understand people, most quotes indirectly lead to liberalism,
  • If the bible is solely what you use to guide your life, then it would be worthwhole observing that the bible teaches no boundaries regarding developing pedopheolic desires, which is probably why there are so many pedopheoile pastors and sexualizing of women in the church, moreover, this is why you can't find dominant women (femdom) in a church like enviornment as it would disrupt the fragile male ego that is developed and fostered by church conservative men, and quite frankly, most men in general.
  • How you problem solve one issue is how you problem solve all issues, this is why spanking children a big deal, however, religion teaches to interpret behavior as otherwise.
    • Religion likes to downplay intellectually developed desires and real interpreting of human behavior and rather simplying everything into "good" and "bad" just given their need to early conclusion.
  • Religion does not have guidance on how to set tolernace boundaries for things like rape and what not, like how should one feel if raped? It also does not provide a blueprint to developing intellectual desires, indirectly stopping improvement and change, which I see as an issue.
  • You can't claim "God made me do it" to justify rape
  • Unconditionallove isn't real because love isn't real it's all based on tangiable conditions people fail to identify because lack of awareness means chasing feelings of goodness, which can be found in things like family.
    • "Honor your father and mother" - is this applicable to kids who have been molested and raped by their parents? Clearly not, this CONDITIONS do not justify trust.
  • Religion is only meant to be a temporary explanation until we can get something better
    • it is a short-term solution only addressing symptoms not root causes.

Counterpoints - Why religion can be used for the lnoger-term "good"

  • Sure, religion points to anti-intellectualism, but, there are situations where common sense truimpus intellectualsim, thereby making it okay to be ignorant sometimes.

Goal:

  • Proving that nothing good can come out of religion -- and no feeling good does NOT count as being "good" as goodness shouldn't be determined by feelings or otherwise an emotional conclousion
  • To prove a relationship between conservatism, religion and pedophile development as religion does not address the development of desire under the guise of magic and free will further stigmitizing it only making the problem bigger. Same thing to do with drug addiction. This further proves the point of why we need to categorize those that were spanked didn't turn out find because spanked but rather spanked and had no other route of escaping: there is a big difference - think about it: is a 12 year old child that was spanked with a belt going to be motivated to purchase a car get an apartment and a job? No they have no social route but to adapt.

In Lieu of Religion:

  • My religion isn’t the bible it’s called being humbled and recognizing all practical possibilities
  • Relgion was a temporary guidance for determining behavior - given that we litearlly didn't have anything else, howwever, we have better options for guidance on how we live life
  • Understanding human bebavior using measruable varaiables such as courage, fear, strength, resiliency, etc.

Why does religion attract abusers?
