Learning how to Learn
Learning how to Learn
- Learn from past (history)
- Only way to learn is learn from experience, experience is the only source of knowledge
- Confusion and curiosity
- Children don't need to be taught how to learn, they literally are born with that ability by default, using their involuntary organs
- Ask questions
- Goal-setting process
- Decision making process
- Reflection thought process
- asking questions is the best way to learn
- Explore first then set goals
- You can't know what is even practically possible without exploring first. Get done wtih this state and start setting and pursuing goals.
- The goal is to explore, as it is a prerequisite to setting goals, without the knowledge, how would you know what the best goal to set is?
- Set a routine and schedule it, excellence is a habit, new things that we do once in a while don't count.
- either it's a once in a lifetijme type of thing or a continious thing, you body is subconsciously making it's routine.
- the only way to learn is by reflecting on the past: In order to recognize effects of spanking, you must reflect on past
- Study (your sensed) history to learn more from it and set new goals
- It is your history, no one else can tell you what you sensed, so don’t rely on any secondary source as you are the only primary source.
- User interface of life
- Learning how to learn will indirectly tell you how to live your life
- Metacognition
- What is thinking?
- Thinking is applying criteria
- categorize the characteristics
- how to explore?
- how to evaluate?
- You can only focus on one thing at a time, so make sure it's a possibility that is likely to happen
- If you forget the feeling, then you fail to find closure and understand what it is really teaching you.
- Come to terms with past, denying wont help, without first recognizing this, you cannot learn to think like a scientist and actually solve problems - you don' know a whole world of emotional possibilties you're missing out on!
- Prepare
- Willingess to learna and change
- All learning is procedural
- Life is learning, so whatever you are learning becomes your routine and lifestyle as no one ever does something only once - it's a part of the laws of power also recall the quote: you are what you repeatedly do.
- This is why I claim that gymnastics is a way of life as it incorproates (learning) how to learn motor skills and transfers into other intellectual activities like desiring to read - like anna highfill, she mentioned that her hobbies are reading and she was a former gymnast and studying psychology to become a concelor proving my theory of intellectual desires.
- This is also why I claim to normal people: "my goals are beyond your understanding"
- all learning is procedural learning as you can answer learn how they learned the idea by asking how did you learn this idea?
- learning motor skills in gymnastics is learning how to learn
- Learning how one mentally comes across said conclusion is very interesting as it proves that all learning is procedural and categorized into skill levels of comprehension.
- Compare it to the objective internal feeling you feel
- Learning how to learn is prepare for preparing
- I believe for societal learning, you're only as good as the social relationships you keep is a very true statement, without networking, you will get nowhere socially - you will never develop the desire to go on vacations, if you are always in your room, being dormat and taking notes, this route will bring you nowhere in real life. As life is not a way where you can get anywhere without interacting with people.
- So if you want to get rid of your bad social relationships, you must get busy with new ones so that the old ones naturally fade away. This is what I was missing in middle school.
- Moreover, intellectually speaking, I believe in mastering the basics before moving onto any complicated topics, this is the root of all procedural academic learning - hence why classes are called "prerequisites". So if you are feeling lost in life, all you must do is retrace your steps and go back to the basics.
- get the basics right and the results will follow
- "i don't know how to live my life"
- Master the basics
- Trying to move on without mastering the basics is like trying building on sand instaed of building on rock.
- Learn deliberately slowly, don't rush learning - it'll never work
- If in a situation where you must rush, act proactively - meaning to exercise much caution.
- By learning how to learn, you know what varibales to look out for when trying to learn any topic.
- To learn you must be ready and willing to learn
- It might go without saying, as common sense, but many poeple overlooked addressing the pre-requisites to learning how to learn which leads them to not pursuing the route in life.
- This just goes to show most people don't have common sense.
- To become socially confident, you must learn how to learn to know what to look out for in social situations in terms of who to be vulnerable with and who not to and obvious and no to so obvious boundaries.
- basically, become aware of what you share - including your presence amongst certain people as sharing your presence amongst certain people will only lead to certain outomes.
- Think of everything as a learning route, meaning is has a process of a pre-requisite, post-process and intrincate in between processes.
- learning how to learn in social settings will help you apply learning skills under pressure.
Provoking Questions:
- How to be curious?
- How to explore?
- these are all traits you have as an instinct as a child.
- What are you actually learning subconsciosuly?
- what specifically are adapting to? adapting not only to how to drive but how to drive in the presence of others
- What are you indirectly learning?
Reflection on past:
- People will learn the true reson why upon looking into their past, not just from the time they were born, but from before the time they were born, this will allow for a more accurate prediction of the future - this further proves why history is important to learn from as it negates the informality of spanking and family love. This also encourages one to look into the effects after life, including death, and longer-term effects of their decisions, such as thinking about your children when you are merely 13 years old.
