The practical reason why we are moral


    I believe in practical morality where not every human being is valuable intrinsically. We are only as valuable as much worth we can bring to society or otherwise completely exit society and never enter again.

    Younger people tend not comprehend the need to cooperate with others at a young age. We are taught this at a young age instead of learning from our past experiences. In doing so, we lose our ability to actually "learn" useful information.

    If we came across a species that looked just like us, but didn't actually have human DNA - instead of being a regular able bodied human being, it had 3 arms, 3 eyeballs, 3 noises, you get the point... and performed every task imaginable better than us - such as building houses, etc. We should assign these creatures rights and responsibilities and trust towards these individuals because of their practicality not necessarily because they are human being - or not.
