Thinking is an action - thinking is a skill
Thinking is an Action - Thinking is a Verb - Thinking is a Skill
Why?
Here we will study how thinking affects behavior
Preface Thoughts:
- My mind can get over it, but my body can't or vice versa
- Psychology is the study of mental process, also known as observing your thoughts, describing your thoughts, metacognition, mental laziness, etc.
- We can all agree that there are some things that are mentally possible and impossible, just like there are physical things that are possible and impossible
- Mentally how thinking process
- We often how things are physically possible as in how can i physically solve this puzzle, but we need to start asking how to mentally solve issues/ To do this, you must understand how the thinking process works and what factors affect it (hint: it's your enviornment)
- If you can't teach the mental actions that are going on in your own head - you don't even know what you're thinking of.
- Ways of interpreting for curiosity or for practicality
- Remember in school tests would read "identify" the [yada yada, yellow ball]
- This means that thinking is a process of identifying and that your body performs micro-level tasks on a micro-level to identify bad bacteria and kill them, that, too, is a part of the identifying process.
- I want the answer to how to think -how to derive the answer, not what the answer is.
- Thinking and feeling have a correlation. Feeling is a condition and a variable that should be considered. Feeling calm is a feeling, we tend to overlook calmness as not a feeling and as rationality, however, it is completely possible to be calm in an irrational situation. For example, it is not a good thing if a person is calm in an emergency situation to the point where they don't react to save themselves from death. This is called silence is compliance and is violence.
- Also, we all know that we can't get happy unconditionally. By acknowledging there is a cause and effect to everything including the process of developing thoughts and feelings, you are indirectly admitting that free will isn't real.
- This means "everything is a feeling" - similar to how you feel calm in rather unsettling circumstances or how you feel scared in unsettling circumstances. This bring me to my next point, it does not make sense to isolate the person from the event, as without the event (enviornment) sustaining hemostasis, the person cannot exist.
- Mental effects are real
- To change my mind means to change the goal of sustaining thinking something, at lot of the times when we think "nothing" is happening, something is actually happening, it''s called existing and existing is an action, as a matter of fact it takes a lot for our body to maintain homeostasis.
I can't change my mentality alone it's like trying to climb mountain by running uphill it simply won't work and is mentally impossible
