When you're focusing, the only thing that is able to be focused upon is, an idea. So when someone asks "what are you focusing on" Answer with "[inset theoretical idea here]" // Ideas are derived (derived -> mental thought process word) as goals, hence the brainstorming process or the fight or flight instinct.
