This means you have learned from the past events, you have learned from history, and are now applying it and being useful to yourself and society. Life is all about learning from history.
Prediction - actually considered what they learned and formulated a plan, a hypothesis, and is now testing it. Just like a scientist.
vs.

If you feel any of these feelings, you must learn from this, unless you are using these feelings as a coping method for survival. Just now that there are ways to get out.
Surprised - learned something new, either goes against the hypothesis (expectations), implying that you considered the wrong things because you were learning, therefore it's okay to be inaccurate, because we all start out flawed, and work for the better.
It's A-Okay if you are in a flawed situation, it's a possibility that must happen, there are people that died for you, so quit whining, plus it's a good learning experience, actually, it's the only learning experience.
Also, there is no such thing as a mistake, it's a made-up judgmental type of word, like morals and mental limits.
Hope - This is present when you don't actively know what it going to happen in the future, you can only control so much as a limited human being. Welcome to reality.
Trust - [refer hope, same thing as hope]
