Becomming aware of nature, becomming aware of ourselves by studying the things we sense, thinking according to reality and not falling victim to the ideally manipulative situational fallacy.
As we perform, practice and engage with reality via our using our 5 senses and identifying the feelings it creates over time, we are creating mental images, these images, compared to reality should measure our why we feel they way we feel.
By studying our experiences, we are studying ourselves, we are observing the behavior that we exhibit in response to processing such information.
We are basically studying how we study information.
We experience the process of gaining information via our 5 senses, the information we experience fills the placeholders
Being aware of surroundings is being aware of your own thought process as surroundings is thought process.
Don't apply the formula and not be aware of it. I say apply because we constantly apply the formula by merely living.
As everything is a science and human being have limits - its safe to called these human being limits. We are a part of nature becomming aware of itself.
Studying how you measure it, meaning studying how the (specific) event you are experiencing affects your senses, must use specific words like the atom and not oversimplify it - like this quote [1] [2]. Vague words are how one gets manipulated, we must measure the actions accurately like this [1]. This is an example of not assigning the events you experience as a bigger meaning, rather

Specific human being limits, since our body is our thought process, the more we learn about the environment and our response to it, the more we are becomming aware.
